We finally got one in Kelowna with the grand opening last thursday. They had a $100 discount if you spent $750,75 off 500,25 off 250.Was a very busy opening and a good turn out.I spent aprox 2k some things i needed others were impulse. They sold approx 120 rifles in the first 2 days. How are they for keeping the shelves stocked?I know they must have pulled in some stock from other stores for their opening.Rifle counter was a busy place they had 2 Ruger SR22 rifles which are a hard find.No powder like eveyone else.

saskatoon's use to be busy till cabela's moved in town. Now I'm surprised they're still open for how dead it is when ever I go in there.

they seem to keep the one in GP fairly well stocked, no? it was cool before canada got cabela's or bass pro shops.

Stocked to a point yes, but when it gets busy it seems like all the employees just "vanish" lol.

If it's something I really need or can only get a WSS, I will shop there,.. but I will order from Cabelas instead,.. my last 2 rifle purchases were from Cab because WSS didn't know, or couldn't find what I wanted in their inventory.

ah, gotcha. haven't really needed anything from there in a long time, the ol lady always buys me a gift cert for WSS at xmas and I have to go in. I get mostly all my stuff other than ammo online nowadays.

Even before Cabelas showed up, the shelves were hardly stocked. Employees seemed more interested in conversing behind the counter than helping anyone. I'm amazed they're still open. Polar opposite of Cabelas. It almost gets annoying in there when you're just gawking around and you get asked constantly if you need help... LOL

The wife loves Cabellas for two reasons. The guys on the counter at Wholesale treated her like a 2nd class citizen trying to buy her 22-250 with Bushnell 4200 series 5X15 mildot scope. No women allowed dark age mentallity. And the Cabella/Bass Pro Shop taxidermy and layout is great. So.......

Conversation goes like this when we are in town.
Wife: We should stop in Cabellas and have a look, anything you want?
Me: If I look long enough yes.

Hard life I know.

Sorry NOsale it isn't your best customer rating here from this guy. I am not the only one, in Edmonton they are known for arrogance at the gun counter especially the North Store.

WSS doesn't have a warehouse to stock from so the stores tend to carry lots of inventory but if they run out, it can take a long time to transfer from another store if others even have stock. Major flaw in their strategy if you ask me. Nice to support a Canadian owned company though. We don't have any Bass Pro's or Cabela's in BC so WSS is as good as it gets. To be honest I've always been pretty impressed with the knowledge of the staff when I walk into the one in Kamloops.

They were out of stocks for a particular gun that I wanted to get. Where is a good place to buy tapco or possibly ati stocks online?
