So what's everybody's opinion on Superglides on deck ramps?
what works best, covering the whole ramp length or just riveting narrow strips on to the ramp rungs like Cross Trax does?

My marathon ramp has the superglides on the edge top to bottom one full width piece seems to work great for both quads and sleds

That sounds like an X Deck...Cross-Trax runs the full strip of Superglides the whole length of the ramp.

He sorry. X deck has the narrow strips on each ramp rung.
So how about it X deck guys? How does the short Superglide strips work compared to the full length strips?

I have an x-deck and i'm going to put full length superglides on my ramp. I have already busted a couple of the individual plastic pieces off of the rungs from mangled ski carbides. And, although it hasnt happened yet, i know one of these days im going to miss a step when coming down the ramp and go right through the open rungs.

Superclamp makes a product called Edge Rail Trim (A lot of new decks and trailers have this feature now). With this product, one can fasten glides onto the ramp without having any spaces in between the ramp cross members. The Edge Rail Trim makes the glides way stiffer for walking up and down your ramp as well. You can pm me if you need some.

Randall will look after you. He's one in a million!

As for the comment about stepping in between the rungs, B-Mac is absolutely right on the money. With the full length pieces you will have no problem walking up and down the ramp. The Edge Rail Trim looks like a great concept.

Full length all the way!
