30 degrees riding sicamous yesterday. Snow was coming down fast, creeks a rising, lakes getting slushy. Won't be long. Great day though, lots through trees, put on 40 miles

Drove to snow line. Rode maybe 20 ft of gravel.

June 17th, never been riding this late before. Had to contend with a never ending surface of suncups and discovered the interesting phenomenon of watermelon snow. The snow stained the threads on our tracks red! Very cool ride

I believe it s some sort of algea that creates he red as a block from the sun.....Seen some show about it recently......

Is that the fire lookout above the cliff? (been a while for me) Thought there would still be more snow........

Yes the lookout. Not much left at it as it is exposed to wide open sun but there is still 5-6' left in the northern facing burn.
