Who are the welders here

I recently purchased a truck and it has a hydraulic driven welder/generator on it. Just curious if anyone has used one and what one is worth.

Never seen one in use before, heard of them, but odds are it's too small for most rig welders and no rig welder I know of has a hydraulic PTO, never mind one big enough to run a welder.

The heavy duty mechanic crowd probably has more use for it, or a better understanding of what it's worth.

I'm not 100% sure but it's either a dynasty or getec, was used for welding pipe and casing. It's not very big, about the size of the electric wire feed deals.

I have them on my drilling rigs. We use them for welding up the casing waterwelling/geothermal. They work ok for small repairs. If you want to sell, let me know $$. Might be interested…

Kinda wondering what it's worth
