Whitecourt snow conditions????

Just thinking of getting some people together to do the Whitecourt Trails this weekend, probably Sunday and maybe Monday. Anybody know what the conditions are like? We have younger riders with us and wanted to stay on the trails.

Just home from a ride with the bride and the trails are still in great shape. We went up to the Virginia Hills area from town on the trails and had a blast. Trails are still smooth and creek crossings are in good shape too. We've still got a few weeks of good riding here even of we do not get any more snow. Come on up, you won't regret it. We even found a few areas off the trail that were untouched and tore 'em up. :d:d:d

Brew_doo... You think decent riding conditions will hold up for a few weeks? Hope yur right. I rode Calling Lake this weekend and we had 3 plus feet of solid snow base. I'm guessing 2 weeks left if the weather gets really warm??

Drove down that hi-way this afternoon and the snow still looks deep. There was alot of trucks parked between virgina hills road and eagle tower rd. There is a nice big pull out there. I bet in the bush there is still atleast two ft.

They were just groomed Friday the 27th, we rode from Whitecourt out about 70km toward Fox Creek and back...played on the well sites and the narrow seismic corridors, knee to waist deep snow.

Awesome ride…no AVYS!! Do miss the mountains though!!!

Thanks for the information. It's sure nice to get a reliable response from local guys like yourself. We had a group of ten riders and had a blast. We stuck to the Carson Loop areas and had a great time. Cheers
