Was up the Rutherford today again. Made it to the lake with a tour but viz wasn't good enough to go higher. I was wrong about yesterdays dump making a good base. There is now a 1-2" crust on top of low denisty snow topped with a ice layer. Probably can't get a worse senario. With a foot or two on top of this things will start going off and will be easily triggered.

Where was everyone today? Only two groups up the Icecap today. Thigh deep powder and blue skies in the afternoon.

Made it to the gas drop with some clients and shredded the Appa glacier all afternnon. 2.4M base on the glacier

Looks like it failed on glacier ice. Thick part of the crown is 3 meters. Saw two different groups riding below huge cornices same aspect. One was even building a kicker.

It has been crazy deep out there. Heading to Bralorne for a few days. Avy danger is high. Unless you know what you are doing better stick to the meadows.

hey guys, was going to go up brandywine today but they were collecting trail fees so went up sprout insted. The first couple of kms you really wanted to have scratchers, the trails were bulletproof. after that it got a little softer, but honestly, its firm everywhere. nice cause you can climb anything. there is some avalanche activity that is really noticable, so take care where you go.

sorry no pics, iphone is dieing

was up brandywine yesterday, not bad, the trails were in bad shape and hadn't been groomed for a few days, usual 3 foot bumps from avalanche gully to the top carpark. the alpine was good, but just not deep enough. there is a surface hoar that has developed up to 10mm in places.

It been pretty mild lately. It was snowing up the Hurley the last couple of days while it was raining in Whistler. Face wasn’t bad except for the poor viz.. Today look like a bluebird day.
