...walking through the fresh snowfall we had last week it occurred to me that I quite often vary my cadence in the hopes of throwing off someone who might be following me. I'll take longer strides than normal and then much smaller ones. But I don't stop there. I'll hop on one foot for about 20' or so, to give the illusion of a one legged man. Or I'll hop on both feet so each footprint is right beside the other. Kinda' like a bunny hop. This gets tiring quickly, so I only do it on special occasions. Sometimes I'll veer off course, maybe a 45 degree angle of 10' or more and suddenly stop, and then carefully tip toe back on the same prints (so not to disrupt the footprints) to my main route.
Other times, I like to make squares or circles or some geometric variation to break things up. I hope you don't find this strange behavior but see it as a manifestation of a zeal for life. Sometimes I wonder when I see tracks going to a mud hole did they do it or just back up? Snow is one thing mud is quite another...besides there's plenty of spare parts available....live a little....

Is that how you spend your time when they allow you escorted outings from your institution?

I thought one time if I walked backwards in my footsteps am I going back in time. Then I realized,.. nope I just wasted my time walking backwards in my footsteps and I am farther back than when I started.

That's just the sound of the missus riding shotgun.....

@AWTY sometimes déjà-vous from certain perspectives can be interpreted as a step back in time...or is someone else's "jump/alteration" in time causing this phenomena.
Flasbacks are entirely a different story though...

RJ....I've had this discussion with the spiders in garage before, don't worry we got er covered....

So if I hook up my power inverter to my trailer batteries then plug my trailer into the power inverter I will have a never ending power supply as the onboard power converter is charging the batteries which are powering the converter which is charging the batteries which are powering the converter...........,infinity

The general theory in that is quite sound however I'd look more towards harnessing gravity and magnetism.
Remember "it can neither be created nor destroyed only transformed"....
The one that's got me thinking is the big chill apparently when all the protons, atoms and molecules dissolve into nothing time itself stops to exist. This almost seems contradictory, so at this point does it oscillate? could explain déjà-vous. This I think is where black holes come into play, imagine bubbles (not the kitties ,Randy and Ricky kind) where matter/energy are taken from one universe and thrust into another through these "conduits" for lack of a better term....

As mentioned, that is a spectacularly distracting avatar. So do you share at all or just keep the really good stuff for yourself? The effect seems quite...well...thought provoking. Probably still wouldn't make me walk backwards though.
