I just ordered my Viper elite 4500 for my 2010 Teryx that i am picking up today. Motoalliance called me, got me all set up for a great price and answered all my questions quickly. I highly recomend them. I have searched various forums and have heard great things about these winches and the customer service that comes with them........for half the price of WARN.

Wondering which winch to go with for 09 teryx. 3000lb or 4000lb?
Is the 3000 enough?? I have a warn 3000 on my brute force and i feel like i work it pretty hard sometimes. With the added weight of the side x side i was thinking about the warn xt 4000 buy it is mighty expensive. What are you guys running for a winch??

:eek:In 1986 +- I bought a Warn 6000 lb winch for a GMC S-15 4X4, then a 1992 Dodge, 2 wheel drive, auto, Desel Truck:nono:. to-day I still have the Dodge, and the Warn 6000 lb winch, and with a multi hitch system, front and rear on the Dodge truck and on a 2007 Polaris Ranger 6X6. I am still using the Warn 6000 lb winch. Never enough room and never enough pulling power. ( GO BIG or Stay Stuck) Its  to have 2 winches on your machine, but spend the extra money and buy the larger winch and install a multi hitch system on your machine.

hi just use a snatch block and that will save your winch and your pocket money

I bought the viper 4000 on ebay with synthetic and all the gear for just over $200. It was delivered in 2 days. The local atv dealer told me a week and $850 for a 3000lb warn. It has pulled me and alot of my buddies out of some knarly holes.

I have the Rt30 warn winch on an 08 teryx and it is more than enough.

I also have this Warn winch on my brute force. Do you find it hard to pull out when you put it on free spool to pull it out manually. Mine sure is. My new viper 4500 pulls out nicely.

it takes a bit of a tug on it to get it to dis-engage but once free it is pretty smooth but the spool is a bit stiffer than other makes! I was told a joke once about this. If it comes out easy than there is no LIFE TIME WARRANTY!!! HAHAHA
