Koodo. Cheaper than anywhere else and awesome customer service. My uncles was with telus when he first started his company, was getting $120-150 bills switched to koodo and it's never been over 80.

So most people are going telus or koodo it seems here in Snow and Mud. Coverage map looks the same and someone said koodo is a division of telus so I think I will give koodo a try. How many of you lock in with a 3 year contract?

I do, phones are way to expensive otherwise. If your not going smartphone then it probably makes no sense but saving like $400 on a phone makes it worth it.

I went 3 year with my iphone. It has lasted just about 2.5 years starting to get scratched up and slow, but want to wait for the new iPhone to come out before i replace it. Get an otterbox and your phone should last at least that long.

Yep Koodo again here....They are the "value" brand of telus, when you call into CS (most of the time) they will answer "Telus". I knew this before and was leary of signing up....BUT I was so sick and tired of contracts. No contract...had my first phone for 2 years, nothing wrong with it...let my tab build up and got a BB for free. Had the BB for 1.5 years, was tired of the constant freezing up and crashing...and the data plan they had for the BB was really expensive IMO...so paid all of $25 for an Android. Use the internet alot (youtube, snowandmud, email so on...) and occasionally the GPS, but have never had a bill over $70. Average BB bill was $90...Highest BB bill was $120 with NO internet use:nono:!! As mentioned before by another poster, with my android atleast, the data plan is a step up system, if you fit in a lower data you pay all of $5 a month....I think the highest one is still only $15 per month, and it's reset for the next billing cycle.

Trick is to let your tab build up, every bill you pay a small amount goes to the tab...other providers have started doing this too now. 99% of everything you do with koodo is online self-serve which is really nice I think. No need to be on hold, or chance talking to a betchy CSR. Although I have only had one bad experience with a CSR and asked for someone else, problem solved.

Honestly I recommend Koodo to EVERYONE, Telus did it right IMO with this division!!:D

Only thing about Koodo...you will not get the newest and latest in phones, most have been on the market for atleast a couple years before Telus allows them to trickle down to Koodo. No big deal for me....gives them time to work out the bugs, JUST like the first few model years of a new vehicle platform!!

I have a 32GB Iphone 4S from telus. I am on a 3 year term. At first I was kind of hesitant about a 3 year term but seems like anyone with a smartphone goes that route. Also Apple is good with their warranty, (havn't had to take it into apple yet) my buddy had his microphone quite working, Apple gave him a new IPhone.

My plan is $68 a month and that includes unlimited nationwide family, calling, unlimited local nights, unlimited text, unlimited nationwide with favorite 10 numbers, 200 local minutes, 1GB of data, voicemail 3, call waiting+conference.

The 3G's are solid. Not sure why so many people have problems with the 4. It seems that a lot more people got
iPhone's as soon as the 4 came out. Not sure if theirs more people with faulty IPhone 4's because theirs more out their or because they just changed something? The IPhone 3G is less prone to smashing/breaking screens but more prone to Scratching. After many complaints about scratched screens on the 3G, IPhone then made the screen on the 4G more durable as fa as scratching goes but that means more prone to cracked/broken screens. Just some random Info on 3Gvs.4G.

Makes sense, harder material tends to snap easier.

I find my 3GS slow as all hell lately. I swear they write in obsolesence into the updates. Let me strap on my tinfoil hat and I'll tell ya all about it.

Only a coupla weeks

Oh ok. Around the time that you updated it? I know that about a year ago my buddy got his iPhone 4. He had a 3G before that for 2 years and the last months of its life it was nearly unusable it was so slow and glitchy.
