I didn't get any responses in the mod section so thought I would try this here.

I bought a Mountain Mod seat for my Rev and it fits perfectly height wise, width, but the foam is a bit too soft so I bottom out to the pan almost just sitting on it. Does anyone know of a place that does good work with seats to have a denser foam installed to stiffen it up? I don't want it to be quite as hard as like a BOSS is but I need to do something.

Thanks

There's a really good place to get it done in drumheller. But that's a long drive for you.

You would think so but no.
If I was just recovering it I wouldn't mind taking it to just any shop, but I need to integrate my existing foam with a denser material and still have it shaped right so I would rather take it to a shop that knows a little about this and has done others with good results!

I have heard about people doing this with motorcycle seats so I'm sure these shops exist.

why dont u call mt mod and see if he will help u...but u will have to ship it

Yes I'm pretty sure he could help me out, but I was trying to avoid shipping it back to him which is why I was hoping someone might know of a place in Alberta to get it done.

What is the name of the shop? PH# would be cool too!

Lives in Capilano in Edmonton. Does bike seats mostly, but has done a lot of sled seats for members on this site. He redid the Boss seat on my Kingcat with a couple of mods I wanted. Excellent work at a very reasonable price.

Highly recommended.

I highly recommend him. He works out of his basement and the quality is amazing.

He took dads and my stock seat, and raised them up to look like a boss seat but is even more comfortable. I think I will end up taking any seat I get to him.

Pm summitric for more Info.
