where to find snorkel supplies?

I'm planning to snorkel my old 01 sportsman, can't find a kit anywhere so i figured I'd just do it myself. my only issue is finding good hose? after briefly looking the only thing i could find over 1" was sump pump discharge hose which is definitely not durable enough IMO. So where does everyone go to find this "spa" hose?

They ship just cost a little more lol .... Any hose shop like green line red line places like that will have what you need .... Where you at ?

People use a variety of shhtuff. If you can't avoid routing them where there's a risk of them being melted, you can use marine exhaust or radiator hose which you can get from Gregg's Distributors. I was able to route mine such that I don't have to woryy about meting holes in the hose, so I used the spa hose you speak of which you can pick up at Home Depot. PS. I originally tried the marine exhaust hose that I got with a Performance ATV kit. It was extremely stiff, so stiff that I had trouble routing it through a couple tough spots, gave up, and built my own outta the spa hose.

A local hot tub or pool supply store is great too. I set old renegade up with hot tub hose and it worked great for the entire time.

I was originally looking for more of a vac type hose with the ribbed exterior but I ended up finding some reinforced vinyl hose a tack lands that seems like it will work. I haven't tried to fit it yet but I don't think I'll need to go too close to anything hot so it should be ok

I used some rigid 4x vac hose for CVT exh/intake

Use the white plastic elbows they look nicer. I used them just primed and painted them using paint made for plastic.

I've heard that the white ones are more uv resistant as well so I was planning to use them anyways

The stuff you found might end up breathing better than ribbed hose and it also sound like it would be more durable.

I just used 2" pvc pipe from Rona. made it up as i went along. no leaks what so ever, only bad part, gotta cut it off to get it off.

Yeah, that's the advantage of flexible hose. Snorkels are a PITA to work around even when they are made with flexible host.
