Grand Forks for some Russian food and culture. Creston for fresh fruit and veggies. You can camp at Scotties RV campground right across from the brewery and take in a tour.

IMHO, there is not much from Kelowna to Rock Creek (I think it is highway#33) but the other way through Penticton/Oliver and onto highway #3 is cool. Enjoy and take time to smell the roses.

That's the plan, take time to smell the roses!

I've heard good things about Moyie Lake and Surveyors Lake

nice to drive with no plans but have a few destinations in mind.

Check out the Provincial park in Yahk.
It's a great spot to relax and stroll the river.
5 minute walk to Two Scoop Steves for ice cream.
There's a private one behind the store that is nice as well.

If we stop at Surveyors lake, anyone been over the forestry road to Moyie? cuts out crankbrook and looks like a wicked drive.

Not recently but I was going to try it at the end of the month. My parents did it with me when I was like 9 months old but that was in the 70’s so.....

I haven't been through there yet this year but it is mostly a good gravel road.
If you are thinking of dragging a trailer take it slow and you'll be fine.
Keep in mind it's about 70 km pavement to pavement and very little, if any, cell service.
Watch for logging trucks, they go like hell through there.

Been down those roads but not since last summer. Basic gravel roads and were in good shape. You should be ok. The road starting in Cranbrook and heading to the lake has some good camp sites along one of the creeks.

some of the Alberta campers that have sites at the Rock lake campsite were worried about coming but nothing will happen.

Well we left Edmonton Friday and got to Drumheller for the night, hit the museum and got on the road to Fernie!

Fernie RV resort was AWESOME! Great view and amazing showers.

headed to Surveyors lake and seen the turtles and amazing clear water

then off to Rossland, the Lions campground was a nice small quiet place. Had a good sized brown black bear cruise through camp!

through Osoyoos, hit 37 degrees and then up the lake to Kelowna, the Willow Creek campground was in a great location but just ok.

took in the kangaroo farm and then hit Kamloops in the afternoon. Nice to stay here for a few days and relax. Was 38 yesterday…. Need to get back on the lake!
