I was to the Shell lube oil plant in Brockville years ago for work. They blended stuff there including CT. Place is probably shut down now I bet like the grease plant in Calgary.
Was putting oil in truck and wondered where the oil in that jug actually came from? Hopefully from Canadian sources. Where do they fill those jugs?
Chevron had a facility in Burnaby, I think it sold but still runs
Husky had a tiny refinery in Prince George too, not sure if it runs still
nowhere near the refining capability we need....

Agreed, most of these refinery's produce what is consumed locally so lube oils would not be a lucrative market. (Not enough volume)
Burnaby would likely be a large jet fuel supplier
