Dont be hard in the guy maxwell. He was probably humbled by your awsome riding ability, and afraid of the doo your on.

Come to think of it one guy I know almost didn't come because it was snowing hard."I won't be able to see" he said.
I'm ashamed to admit it, but I was that guy this past weekend. Wife and I went to the core area near tumbler and made it about 8k down the trail and had to call it a day for lack of visibility :( . If we knew the area better we might have stuck it out but it was our first time riding there, visibility was about 100ft at best and we were afraid of getting lost. It was hard to leave because it was snowing like mad but safety first I guess...I'll be back!!

Did he run into the said tree before it broke and fell on him. Laughter aside hope the injured has completely recuperated.

One buddy always claims a weekend trip will tire him out for work on Monday.. he works Mon to Fri 9-5 out of his dads house and he is 20 years old. Same guy mentioned above with the 09 xp with 300km on it.. we call him marmaduke lol

My buddy told me he didn't have a way to get there. I told him I had an open seat in the truck and room on the trailer. He stayed home while I enjoyed 3 days of awesome riding with my dad.

Worst I've done is "Hey guys, I can't go. Cooked the motor in the 700".

If any of my current friends had sleds, well, I'm sure I could get some pretty interesting excuses. Time to find new friends! Haha.

I just programmed my SPOT to say the same thing... to all the 'JAMMAHS!!

this past week.

my friend was with me. yes drove 500km to valemount. and sat at the house all day while we went and destroyed the new snow because it was "overcast and snowing"

needless to say he got a spot message from 8000ft burried in 3ft of fresh "pussy"

I think I have heard every excuse in the book! But the one I still laugh at when brought up is
"I can't go... my wife has a sore back"
