What should a guy be looking for when pulling out the power valves on a 08m 8. Ithink they may be gummed up cant seem to pull the rpm I pulled last year.
What to look for?

How is your belt and clutches? If I am not mistaken, a worn belt or dirty clutches could also cause issues with not being able to pull the rpm's.

Nice and clean, belt hardly has any miles

I would think it would be pretty easy to tell if the power valves were gummed up when you get them apart.
