Best ski...loaded question. What one person likes in a ski, the next person does not. On my 04-06 Summits, I had simmons, then switched to MODS, and loved them. Great powder ski, and literally is like putting power steering on the sled. Sold them with my last doo. On the M-chassis, I bought and tried the following skis: C&A outlaw XT's, Slydog Powder Hounds (7"), Stock, SLP Powder Pros, USI Triple Threats, USI VX301's, and MODS. The MODS again were my first choice for powder, hands down. Close second would be the Powder Pros - not as easy to turn or hold a sidehill, but they are certainly more flexible. I never broke a bridge on a set, but I have bent one before. The Outlaw's steered heavy and were too aggressive for my tastes - I like a light feeling ski. Slydogs? A bit wider then the stockers, but not any better in performance IMHO. The colors are sharp, though...
Ask yourself what you want that your stock ski cannot provide, and do your research.
