Hello i'm looking to buy my first sled and would like some help. I'm looking at a 2000 summit 700 with a 132/2 track with 2800 km on it and he is asking 4300. What is it really worth? thanks for the advice!
Well I will be ditch riding and trail and some lake.
Because its nice to have a long track when the snow does get deep around home and if the guy decides to go to the mountains in the future...why buy a summit then? can't understand why people buy mountain sleds when they will not use them in the mountains....
Thanks for your help all. I kinda though it was too much money.
Stephen 189 I have been searching the net for info for a while and the one thing I found is that there are a lot of people saying both polaris and ski doo have a lot of brake downs. Also I have two friends that sled and they both own ski doo and recommend to go with that brand so.... don't really know what to do beside getting a ski doo.

For the money you are way better off with an m7 and if you ever go to the hills it is a very capable sled. Very reliable, no diamond drive issues and the suspension is pretty darn good for its time. It also is a good sled to do modifications to but it may be harder to find parts for than an m8. Buy a Cat just to be different then your buddies and it is fun to kick some ass while you are at it.
