I am officially done with the sled but I find myself grabbing a beer and checking every nut and bolt 3 times over when I am out in the garage. When I am not in the garage I am on my labtop checking sites, watching you tube every night. Yeah I am ready, plans are made for a couple of trips and absolutely can't wait. Bought a quad for the wife so I am doing all the maint on it, bought a wrap for her last week so that will keep me/us busy for the next few weekends.

Not quite ready for a ride here... just made room in the garage to park the truck out of the snow and gave it a tune up, avy training today (great job Lori!). Now to get a beacon, fill my avy bag with survival gear, and hopefully get good news from Dean to pick up the sled with a small bill (though i'm afraid my issue will add up fast)

Good on you for getting the Avy course before you go to the mountains! And Lori does a great job! Don't worry about Dean he is affair as they come!

Well snowboarding has put me in questionable positions and getting buried in a tree well while nobody had a shovel was reason enough to take a course before I go rip the sled in even more dangerous areas. And go figure you hear in the course guys in similar positions snowboarding didn't get so lucky to walk away. I know it's in great hands with Dean, just a little scary when the coolant leak you notice after it sits in the garage could turn into an ugly one. So Lesson learnt, you go look at a sled that's spotless and just got moved from its storage spot is a clue you might have issues... Of course the coolant wasn't low the day I looked at it!

Haven't even picked it up. Just wishing i had bought a new to me bobcat instead.

You can't be saying things like that on Snow and Mud man. The people in WHITE coats will come and put you in a room with soft pillowy walls, never to be seen again. Keep the sled, the muscles you gain from shoveling your driveway will be put to good use as your sled goes farther than your buds.

I changed phases today, first tracks. Snow was "a little skinny" but there was enough to let out some smoke, testosterone and give me a huge grin. IMG_1223.jpg IMG_1224.jpg IMG_1227.jpg

Went over the sled and got it ready to rock for the first trip. I've been watching sled movies, scouring the net for anything new and sled related. I can't wait for the first trip! Hopefully it doesn't stop snowing all month in Revy!!

All repairs and accessories are put on and done. Just waiting for the first trip. Been on every sled site and YouTube waiting to try new (used) sled!
