I'm gut wrenched obviously too having 3 of my own kids in school everyday ages 3-9. But in my opinion gun laws are not the answer. If someone is sick in the head they will do what it takes to get that firearm. This is the same for criminals. Just because there is a law doesn't mean they will follow it. I own 10 guns. Doesn't mean I'm going to kill anyone. I'm not sick and twisted. I'm tired of hearing about changing gun laws

I'm pretty sure you're thinking Norway not Denmark.
You are correct,my point is though, this happens everywhere in the world......Also keep in mind the US has more than ten times our population and god knows how much bigger their media is.......

10 times the population, and hundreds of times the murders.
Pick a city in the states the size of Edmonton, population wise.

Now go look at the murder stats comparisons.

If this guy had a harder time to attain the weapons, he would have been possibly noticed, and perhaps 20 innocent children could have gone to school monday.

This topic makes me seriously furious!!
Not because i read it on here, in general.
The only thing I can think of as to the reason someone would do this to so many children, and their families,is because the social media will keep talking about what he did.
Sad, sad day indeed.

Guns don't kill people. People kill people. Laws don't keep anyone safe. People caring about each other do. Money doesn't solve money problems. People being accountable solves money problems. This all boils down to discipline. It takes discipline to do the right thing. Metal detectors and security in our schools would make the difference. Our society puts more in to protecting our bars with security and metal detectors than we do in to our kids. Walmart invests more in petty shoplifting prevention than we do on our security for our schools.

You mean....

"gun's don't kill people, People with guns kill people"

The convenience of attaining a hand weapon is much tougher up here, (and I'm talking hand guns and semi-auto weapons) thus less crimes per.

It's easy, clean and fast to use a gun, as opposed to a knife. Laws keep MORE people safe. Laws help form discipline It's not like a light switch. Imagine the world without laws?? LOL

This not a thread for arguing guys! Let's keep this to condolences. Also please keep the "hear-say" out of here. This is a horribly tragic event from any angle we look at it.
