Anybody else think the steaks at Zala's in Revy have gone backwards since Mike sold the business? :(

When it was available the cariboo at the cariboo grill in Valemont was outstanding!! They haven't been able to get it for a couple of years now though. :(

Our family lived on caribou for many winters and it gets a little boring....not as good as moose nor buffalo....seems the texture is a little mushy....just saying

X2 on that! Most people will never know what a perogy tastes like when it comes fresh made right out of the pot.

the gf makes them with her grandma's recipe......MmMmMMMmMM cheese and onion perogies......but i still have to stick with donairs from Sicilian pizza in halifax.....K.O.D in halifax second runner up for donairs

Tried that joint once - it was so bad that we asked for our money back. blech!

Must have had the gorilla on the stool cook it. Haven't had a bad meal there yet. Usually when you go somewhere and there are always alot of people the food is always top shelf.

When we were at the Dole Plantation in Hawaii. Fresh pineapple with a sprinkle of salt...mmmmmm. Been hooked on pineapple ever since. There's nothing like it :d

as a bonus they say it flavors your baby batter

x1000000000 on Baba's perogies.. oh my gosh I miss the times when we had big gatherings with all my aunts, my mom and my baba cooking.. Phenomenal food. There were these deep fried prune bun things.. can't remember what they were called.. it's been 30 years since I've had one. Baba's borscht.. mmmm

A long time ago I was fly fishing at a lake in AB called Tay Lake. The rainbows in there were pink in color from eating freshwater shrimp. We dug a pit filled it with coals and stuffed the fish with onions bacon and other herbs.. covered up the fish and let them cook for a while.. that was awesome.

Recently we ate at a restaurant in Castlegar after riding. Chopsticks is the restaurant. Their peach prawns are unreal, same with their sushi and hot and sour soup.

since nobody else is gonna say it.................... bacon, eggs and hashbrowns cooked in a freshly seasoned 28inch cast iron frying pan over an open fire on the 2nd quading trip of the year. because you usually forget how to cook over an open fire in a cast iron pan on the first trip!
