I'm looking to get some opinions on how to get more power out of my stock 2011 CFR 450 with a 2011 Timbersled ST kit. I love riding it but always looking for more power!
Fuel re-map? Exhaust? porting? Cam? I'm sure these all help but I get the feeling that spending $2000 for an extra 10HP might not make the difference i'm looking for.
In my opinion a 75-80HP engine would be just right!

Am I wasting time with a 450? and should I be running a Husa 570 or 500cc 2stroke or put a turbo on this thing?

I've heard the Husky 510 works well. A 520 kit would put your power in the same area. Should work. You'll have to make sure the engine breathes as well as it requires.

A full System by FMF or Yoshimura is usually the easy way to get the most out of a stock bike, it will not have the same reliability issues as you get with a lot of the more extensive mods. The difference may surprise you especially the honda responds well to a exhaust they are usually a bit plugged up :)
