We have 2 donkeys. Our dogs are ok in the pasture because they know each other, but strange dogs/coyotes/fox get chased away or stomped if they make a stand!!!
them donkeys are ornery critters....my buddy had a trail cam set up in his neighbors field, when those donkeys noticed it they ripped it off the tree, and totally destroyed it. there were a few pics before it was shredded, they even smashed the pelican case to pieces. he found the camera and had to rip it apart to get the card out....

They like toys.We put salt block in an old car wheel with rubber still on it and had two a while ago that would pick that up and play tug-of-war!!!

It is too!!:d:beer: All you need is lawndowners permission in writing.

You can have verbal permission too as long as you have the land owners name and number. Written is better though as it will get you off the hook right away with out having to track down the land owner.

I had two dogs at the farm for coyotes, one named Winchester and one named Remington. Different calibre of training for each but when they barked the coyotes dropped dead. Neighbor had a German shepard and what he cought he killed, I liked my dogs better.:d

I had a third dog for a while named Parker Hale who looked very impressive and showed great potential as a coyote killer but alas his bark was off from day to day so he spent most of his time with his butt on the porch.:d

Cane Corso would kill a yoddi, but not sure they are fast enough. I used to know a guy who had 2 greyhounds, a pit bull and a roddi. The greys would run them down then the pit bull and Roddi would clean things up! It was quit the show as these dogs were all in little boxes in the back of his truck. see a yoddi and let the rodeo begin!

Anyone know if a Bullmastiff is fast enough to catch coyotes? Also anyone know where to buy a Great Pyrenees around Edmonton?

My Cane Corso "Italian Mastiff" is 120 -125lbs a Bull is heavier yet so I would geuss not. We used to have a Akita on the farm he would bring home the odd coyote. He used to go play/run with them at night.

depends how fast the coyote is.lol probablt not agile enough i would think to catch a yodee. would have to train him to suprise attack then they could do it.

For sure a bull mastiff is not, to heavy. I agree on the akitas or greyhounds.
