What do your plugs look like?

Here is a picture of mine. They have 840 miles on a 2013 Pro with a BD turbo at 9-10psi. I'm running 75% 91 non ethanol to 25% VP C12 fuel mix. The spots on the base of the plug are something I haven't noticed before. Are they something I should be worried about?

I see that on are Drag sled to I think it's the fuel(c-12) I have the same spots and haven't had any issues. Cheers

I have seen that yellowish deposit as well on engines running race fuel Aaron. Should be good to go like Tuke says!

You will get the same color/deposits when running av gas as well!!

Those deposits are from the lead in the fuel.

I've ran mixture of 50/50 av gas and premium, 100% av gas, and thats how my plugs looked.

It's almost impossible to read plugs with hi-test fuel. You need an AF meter if you want to run a safe "lean and mean".

I ran an Inovate A/F guage on my last sled, it was great to tune with when doing even pulls. It always scared me on the trail as it was all over the map. Went back to EGT's on this one. The highest I see is 1250 to 1275 F on long WOT pulls. Sled runs great and the motor hasn't missed a beat all season, but I had never left a set of plugs in a sled as long as these. Thanks for the info.
