Good choice!
Has anyone added a sump for a drain in their garage that had nothing originally? I'm tired of the melt off making my floor wet, I have a fan running but it still takes forever and leaves a mess. My thought was in the center of each bay cut out say 16"x16" area and put some kind of basin and grate. Easy to pump out if it gets full, but i'd guess it would take months. Just not sure the best way to do it.
I have seen gear oil barrels used. Cut concrete square. Then dig down deep enough for barrel to fit. Probably not legal.
Lucky we had our garage sump and drain installed during build.
Yea I wanted to but county doesn't allow garage drains to go into sewer so there was no legal option to put in drains. Wondering if concrete would be the easiest, dig it out pour some sides and a bottom. Biggest concern is having good support for the grate if a vehicle is on it or something.
Guys are headed to Pierce in a week for final on our new truck.
I need a Pierce emblem for the door. I sure they can spare one on a 1 million dollar truck.

i used a similar one for years , works awesome, i used a floor squeegee to get rid of water, it did cause ice outside garage sometimes though@cyle
Just use a garage containment mat. They work great and no mess.
This is one type but there are lots. I put an extra layer of 1/8” rubber on top of mine to stop rock punctures. Fix with duct tape, 3 years on the same one.

The wife and I have a on going project of the garage. Did a bunch of work over the New Years holidays. Still have a few more things to do but we are happy with the outcome. Next thing to do is adding more power to the caddy! //uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200130/00df86e4bdb588debe4fbf431352b88b.jpg//uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200130/945eb0680127e62912045f99c730b2d6.jpg//uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200130/4ecc32febba1befbdb6d0b6aac7edfb7.jpg//uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200130/413c869e0a21526e10380a575785fecb.jpg

I didn't see that lightweight hood when I was there....for sale?
What kind of heater is that in the first pic? work good?
It’s just a reznor furnace. Works great. I think it’s a 45000 btu. I keep the garage at 53 f when I’m not in there and when I’m working I put it up to 65 f and it heats it up in 10 to 15 minutes.
