That bring a tear to my eye. The car not the poster. I had a mint 78 and sold it for like $1500 back in late 80s. What an idiot.
I hear ya. Just finished boring my 75 out .60 thou over RV cam change the heads, had bullet proof transmission 373 gears and then the stupid lady in the parking lot clipped me and that was the end of my baby with a bright blue chicken on the hood.

Frame wasn’t bent but it was just enough for me to lose interest like a dumb ass

I broke out the Challenger today….and…..

On the plus side, the Permatex bullseye repair worked pretty ok.

Lawn mower put away day. I have 2 JD F725s. Both mowers cleaned and sharpened. Old one greased, oil change, ready to put away. Other one greased, oil changed……but psyching myself up to do all the belts and tensioner. Big deck belt is done on that one too. Good thing I bought 2 when I changed that one on the old girl a few yrs ago. The tensioner on the drive belt started making noise. I wasn’t sure what the noise was…diagnosed by touching the pulley and promptly welding my finger….thinking it shouldn’t be that hot. Coat hanger wire pointed to offending pulley. Doesn’t look fun.

So had some left over 12”x12” from work, decided to turn it into something useful. Had some 1/2” aluminum plate to make the rings out of. Drilled 5 holes 20” deep into the block. Going to be a cue stick holder for my pool table. Been a weekend and evening project. Take some pics this weekend by the table.

That came from a big log. I milled a 12x for a beam for my basement on my cabin. Needed it 20’ long. Started with a 34” fir to get down to a straight 20’ 12x12. You don’t really see how crooked a log is over 20’ till you put it on the mill. Looked perfectly straight on the tractor forks

Installed a wall mounted pressure washer for doing quick garage floor clean ups. Gas washer is great and more pressure but a pain to rig up for quick jobs. This thing is up and running in 30 seconds. Came with a 100 ft hose to.
