Took it to kawi for some work. The Brute doesn't like winter:(

They are replacing the pull cord.
Replacing the battery(hopefully that's all it is)
Changing diff fluids and oil
Tapping a hole on the belt housing(bolts suck!)
Putting a new spark arrestor and bolts on the beautiful muzzy exhaust.
Found some pictures so u can get custom bumpers built, a rad bar, and a custom rad shroud.

Went to the Honda dealer for a new voltage regulator and saw some 'Zillas. Tempting. Very tempting.

Coming soon:
840 kit
All new plastic and some fancy paint job
Lift
New tires
Spacers.

Did you get a new quad? what happend to your popo?

Yep, found a nice brute on Kijiji. My popo was bankrupting me almost. It was in the shop every weekend for six months. If one thing didn't break it was another.

Two of my buddies got brutes and they always tow me home so why not join em.

A little cleaning after May Long...found a chunck of Aluminum or pot metal after dropping the front skid plate...not sure if it's mine or I scooped it up some place. Didn't have to drop the rear skidplate, it went AWOL.
I fugure its a good time to get rid of that #%*& reverse rev limiter, or as i call it the "get the quad stucker"[/ATTACH]

Figured I'd send rep your way. Sucks to hear about the bearing. How do you think you managed that one?

Not sure, I ride my grizzly very, very hard... I think it's somewhat common from what I've read. If that's the only thing wrong with it then I'm happy. I just had to replace a CV last weekend and if it wasn't for a buddy with a spare axle laying around I'd be a lot more pissy these days haha.

Thats amazing for riding hard, I'm not easy on my machines by any means, and my XP was a garage queen, I hardly got to ride it, something always went wrong or broke.

Brute now is soooo much better for me.

Good to hear the Grizz works too. Sooner or later, they break things though.

Just sucks when its routine week after week.

I took the new brute for a test drive, very nice. Only thing I don't like is the ground clearance... 9.8" stock.. Other then that it was a very tight machine. Better rider er hard, the big v-twin ain't made for goin slow! haha.
