sxs has been busy hauling wood and tools to finish hunting cabin

Wifes, 2013 TRV. Has had an issue with the steering arm for some time. The splines on the post have worn down and developed some slop. It would slide up and down almost a 1/4". Just kept on tightening, breaking, replacing the same bolt. I would have expected the spline to be keyed with a shoulder bolt. It's not. Finally got fed up and drilled it right through and put a split pin in it.

Got my new toy home today! My last atv was a 2001 Honda Rubicon so this will be a bit different.

Have to say I'm really liking it. Waiting on exhaust and other stuff I ordered on Black Friday sale from SLG welding, but I probably won't see that until January. Also really missing the heated hand grips I put on order when I put my deposit down on the machine in September. Those are on back order until at least the end of January. If they don't get bumped again. May end up being something I enjoy next winter.

i put hand warmers on the old Honda 350.. hated to cut the 1986 grips ,so i tryed the air gun,.worked great,,came right off,,in case these Chinese POS quit.. plowed snow with bare hands the other day,,worked great,.this 86 350 still has factory tires on it, got it 3 yrs ago from original owners daughter,, he had a new 800 quad that she kept.

Didn't do anything to it today but ordered some new tires for it. Since when did utv tires cost almost the same a pickup tires!!!???

a few friends with newer ATVs with 14 in tires,,put studded car tires for winter,

I don’t but but almost everyone else I ride the river with does. Makes a big difference. I might finally stud my tires this year.
