Well we are looking at getting an acreage so I want to be able to push gravel and dirt and stuff so I don't think the alpine plow will work for me

Also....I have a Can Am blade...the Flex Blade is an AWESOME system, but unfortunately, the mounts only bolt to Canned Hams.

I've had a Warn plow in the past and it was good. Sturdy, basic. I also had a home built one that worked all right, but was pretty heavy. I tried pushing dirt and gravel with the Warn and the other metal one....no dice. I haven't subjected the Flexplow to that test as I have a tractor now.

i have plowed an acre or so every winter, SxS /atv worked fairly well as long as the snow is not iced up, need to push snow out farther than you need, and to start ramping it up to keep pushing it up and over the pile. usually plow 150 x 250 square then roughly 50 x 400 ft drive . +/- ? so far the plow on the ranger -72 inch works well. had a 60 inch on king quad, worked ok just took longer and tough on smaller battery. just need to get at it after it snows, otherwise i have called the farm guy down the road to come over, usually very hard on grass though? skid steer/tractor works well and can do more for sure.

As always, no shortage of opinions and encouragement to go to bigger equipment. I am on an acreage ant the driveway is about 200 feet long with a 60 foot by 60 foot area in front of the garage/shop. I had for years used a snow blower but it is a slow process even with the large one that I have. I was curious about using a snow plow on the front of my Honda 420 but not sure if it would work well. I just picked up the Kolpin plow (on sale now at crappy tire for $350 bucks) and stuck it on. Works great but it is a little narrow when angled which it is most of the time. Takes about half the time as opposed to the snow blower and is kind of fun. I often do my driveway, the road in front of my place and sometimes the neighbors driveway too. Never had an issue with killing the battery or anything else for that matter.

So like all things, depends on how much you want to spend and how much you have to clear. Good luck

Nice skid steer but a considerable step from a snow blade for an ATV :d - About $50 K if you are buying new I would think...

This is what you need. Don't let the price get in the way.
