Couldent agree more. Used uber a few times, showed up quick, clean modern cars with no vomit air freshener, and a driver that didn't reek of body odor. Taxi's and the cab commish have had a monopoly and free rein for far to long. Now that there is competition they want to play the safety card, been in cabs that feel like an exhibition rideFawk cab companies.....

When we were in la and San Diego uber was recommended due to the cabbies being crooked. Swapping bills is their specialty. 20 for 1.Been using it in la and in palm springs and its been working great
