What are the best options for a front bumper on a 2019 Alpha?

On cat's site there is one option, the Pro MTN, but I would think it holds a lot of snow. Not sure how to get a part number for the purple.

Black Diamond has bumpers but no purple.

Other options?

I've been having a hard time finding any of the Cat bumpers that are not on backorder. I had the big Pro bumper on my '13 and although it looks a little big/goofy, it took a lot of abuse and held up well. I was going to go with the Proclimb bumper on my '19 but I think I'll go with the Pro bumper again. Comments I've read on the Pro MTN is that it packs with snow and not many good places to grab onto it with your hands.

Lots of good reviews on the BMFab units, just priced much higher than the Cat ones

I have a Cat bumper on my 15 and it seems to work well enough. I don't know if they still sell it.

Skinz makes a nice one but also pricey.

I plan to leave the sled show with something this weekend. Just not sure whose name is going to be on it yet.

Some manufacturers have raw finish options that can be powder coated, may take a bit to get the colour matched though.

Have a Pro Mountain bumper on my ‘19 Alpha with about 2500 km in the trees. Worked well even when I used it to de-bark a few trees or needed something to tug on. Didn’t notice snow packing but the front end was usually in the powder! Mine is black.

Ok, going with the ProClimb bumper 8639-204 as soon as it is available. Dealer just can't access yet from Cat. If it turns out not available in the next two weeks, will go with ProMTN.

Thanks for the responses.

I have the cat Pro Mountain.
Thought it would pack up with snow but stays clean.

Ya mine too, have had a couple of them, they take hits like a champ as well, first one pretty much saved the whole nose cone of the sled and saved a mountain trip as well because it happened the first day of a 4 day trip

I went with the Skinz this year. I have ran both the Pro MTN and the proclimb Bumpers in the past to no success, the pro mtn doesn’t have anything to grab onto, is paper thin and folds quite easily. The Proclimb bumpers are decent to grab onto but again made out of pot metal and bend super easy. Skinz Bumper was tough to get and a little pricy but hopefully will last a little longer then the cat bumpers. Fit and finish was decent for Skinz, and made quite well. Should shed snow pretty good, offer some decent protection and be able to take a pretty good hit.
