I guess rather than start another thread ill toss up photos of the 77. Got into the headlight bucket today and found this.

Tons of murrets. Musta been an electrician. Here's the funny part, they were soldered underneath anyways. Why not solder em together and simply heat shrink em? Oh well. Cleaned that crap up a bit.

Changed all fluids, threw a battery at it, changed a brake light switch, checked the primary out. Just one switch away and the headlight will function correctly and I can ride the old girl home.

The dyna is close as well, waiting on fuel and brake lines. Should be able to get both girls home next week. With luck anyways.

Got the oil lines plumbed in. Was bleeding the system but the battery was too dead. Should be running early next week but it looks an awful lot like a motorcycle right now. Likely going to need a high torque starter. This motor is a beast to turn over. Even with compression releases. It fired for a brief second but it's not running yet. So close yet so far.

I'm quite proud of how it turned out and will be doubly so the day I can ride it home. I blew the budget on this one but you know, it seems worth it. Will post video when it runs.

Done. Front brakes didn't bleed properly. But I've put everything back on. Started the break in yesterday. Heat cycles first. Then I'll be riding. So pumped.

I'll run bags when I've got a bigger trip to do, but for the average day, nah. I'll leave it bare. Scooted around the parking lot today a bit. Needs some dialing in, did a few heat cycles. Now I realize I've gotta insure the damn thing, and BC doesn't make this a cheap option. Oh well, it's worth it.

Well gents, I finally got this thing home yesterday. It sat for a month or two after I finished for some silly reason. Now its on. So far, I've got to say, it's way too much fun. Still doing the break in thing so I haven't laid into it yet. That being said, this thing makes power. Lots of it. I think I need to upgrade the brakes really...
