I need free tickets because i'm dropping money on fernies truck, and a new M8 form t&t....cant afford tickets to the show after that
So you want 2 free tickets for the big show in Edmonton this weekend. While I need to hear some sob stories and what your going to buy. Then we will pick the good ones and randomly draw some names for sets of tickets.

For more info on the show see The Alberta Snowmobile & Powersports Show 2013 | The 2013 Alberta Snowmobile and Powersports Show

I had to really lower the price of my truck so Plio could buy it and then he goes and buys a new sled!

Sort of thought I'd have enough cash to keep me through the winter by selling that truck but now with the rock bottom price and the high price of premium for the sleds, MMVII coming up and needing a hotel room for that, and the price of going to shows in Edmonton and Saskatoon, I'm going to have to get a loan to get me through to Xmas.

It is hard enough on a meagre pension but when the younger generation beat the crap out of us ol' folks to buy fancy toys and such......I just don't know these days!

I would really like to go to the show and have tickets and parking paid for so I could see all my ol' buds once again. I'm getting so long in the tooth that I may not be around for many more shows and if I can't scrape the dollars together after delivering the truck to Plio, I may just have to sneak into the S&M booth and ask some of the well off members for a little loan.

I really hope you understand Ron..............:lalala:

As for what I am going to buy or need to buy, I require a new helmet as the one I have is too heavy and my neck and shoulders get very sore after a day of bashing through the Kootenay trees. It is torture on the way down to the truck with those 2' high moguls that the groomer operator missed. I also need new gloves. I read somewhere on here that someone else, someone of a Godly nature, is having trouble with keeping the hands dry. I have two top-of-the-line pairs of gloves and at the end of the day, no matter which pair I have on, the hands are wet. Then there is the problem of getting rid of the smell of my main course in preparation for dessert back at the truck. The lingering smell of a hot meal has to be eradicated and I am going to scour the floor looking for something to clean the ol' muff-pot.

I am sure there some other goodies that I require for the up-coming season and a stop at the S&M booth is required if I have any jingle remaining.........:crapfan:

1. Val booked Mexico on my credit card
2. Putting air conditioning in the house and have no money now.
3. Val ran me over tearing my riding pants. Causing knee damage and I am waiting for the MRI. I have to drink beer for pain. So free tickets would help me out. Then I can get new riding pants at the show. Also need a new snow and mud jacket from the booth...

Hey Ron give it to this guy. That is a real sob story when he doesn't have at least one friend to take with him. He's got my vote! Lol.

i have such a long way to go to get to the sled show, not sure if i can even go as i scoured the ditches this week and got a whole $ 4.50 i will need to drive the ditches on hwy # 2 looking for beer cans thrown out by medler and trashie just to make the return journey. i would be able to take the left over ticket from wild one. i may have to ask my long lost boys (bogger and plio) for spare change to purchase birthday cards for there upcoming birthdays. haha the lads don't know it yet, the little rascals.

I could use the tickets because I got back into the sport last year and got 100 miles out of my RMK (cost me $25 a mile not including gas and insurance!) sold it after first breaking the water pump belt the first 15 minutes and then totally grenading it on the following weekend, wound up buying a better sled which really ate into my gear budget... Not to Mention I overpaid for a Polaris helmet and now ride a Cat! Oh and I had to give away overtime just to make the darn show, further making me need free tickets!!
