hahaha, yup, the army truck that was in the ditch was a 8x8..... I thought about stopping to see if they needed a hand, but didn't think my 1/2 ton would have any effect

Those things are almost unstuckable . Must have been a rookie driver. Should have been able to drive right back on the road.

Put a guy/gal from say England that has never dealt with this and he/she panics.
Probably had no idea the vehicle could just drive out.
