If it makes ya feel better, we have had flowers for over a month, guys been boating that long and I'm still sledding with over a foot of fresh this weekend

sent while I should be drinking tea's

Yes, one can enjoy the weather! The flowers and the birds (they are just a singing away every morning!) don't really mind.........speaking of spring flowers......from down in the valley to up top is quite a difference!

Special weather statement in effect for:
  • Red Deer - Ponoka - Innisfail - Stettler
Severe thunderstorms likely in Central Alberta tomorrow.A trough of low pressure will trigger widespread thunderstorms as it moves through Central Alberta on Thursday. Thunderstorms are expected to develop along the foothills in the early afternoon and move east, lasting late into the evening. There is still uncertainty with regard to the exact location of the most severe storms. Strong winds over 90 kilometres per hour and hail larger than loonies will be the main threats with these storms. The public is advised to monitor future forecasts and warnings as warnings may be required or extended.

Please monitor the latest forecasts and warnings from Environment Canada at .

Severe thunderstorm conditions possible - late afternoon to evening. Conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts and damaging hail. Severe thunderstorms are expected to develop along the Alberta foothills late this afternoon then travel southeastward into the evening.
