Princess auto had ditch pigs on for 25 bucks do they stretch out.

I like the snow bungees for tugging sleds out. I have the sled to sled. Comes with a hand strap.
My buddy I usually ride with has the hand to sled one.
We get a lot of use out of them.

I you tubed it. Looks like you need a good angle and deep snow for that move. I'll have to try it out.
Even in hard snow it's fine

But a not so steep hill and nose pointed straight up works awesome, even off straight works

This is so u can hop on and go again

Steep hill your better off to roll it Cause your not going to get going again

I see where Zac's Traks is passing out loops of mule tape at their avalanche courses. They are about 4' in circumference and gives you a 2' advantage on a ski pull. They work great and you can carry them in a pocket. Years ago, I was introduced to a serpentine belt that was used as a ski puller. It is about 8' in circumference and gives you a 4' advantage on a ski pull. I store mine in the glove box and it is very readily available. A little boot stomping or some shovel work and a couple of 6-8" pulls to put the track on a little more solid snow and then pop the sled out of the snow with a "pin-it". This little idea also works for two guys to pull on each side (i.e.. if you have to lift the back end for some reason, loop this through the bumper and each guy takes an end and allows two guys to lift.

No more problems with where to store the big cumbersome Bunjie, with where to hook it when the hook doesn't fit, and with spending the $100. Used serpentine belts are a dime a dozen at any auto repair shop.

Instead of looping a 4 foot strap to give you a 2 foot advantage, choke the sling and you only lose a couple inches. I get 4 feet of pull with the Zacs pull straps. No need to carry a bulky serpentine belt, and I double them up and choke to the handle bar. Doesn't get in the way, and they're always handy. Everyone in my group has one on the bars.

Usually I spin my track to set my sled on its side, then I roll it. I try to avoid the straight up stuck at all cost. Sled pulls over out of its trench much easier with a little bit of track rotation.

Wait, was it Rene that was in the youtube video a few years back of a guy at a sled loading lot / highway placing tannerite by his buddies and shooting it with a rifle to surprise them?

I've seen very few situations where the sled to sled snow bungee works. Most times the snow is too deep and it is very awkward to get another sled into position deep in the trees. The pulling sled usually ends up stuck as well. For something that is a throw away from an auto shop, that serpentine strap works wonders.

Lol you bought $35k worth of sleds this year and you won't buy a $7 climbing sling.

Interesting.

I follow the REPO method... Roll Every Possible Opportunity

I'd say 50% of my stucks I end up rolling my sled out, That or dig out the front to get back on top of the snow and pin and wiggle...3" has helped a ton with this method this year lol

Ya the 3" is way better I'll give ya that. I little bit of snow stomp in the front, a side to side rock, giver a little feathering throttle action and up she goes.

The REPO is our groups favorite move as well
