ways to cut rigid insulation

insulating the new trailer. i have access to a bunch of 2 inch rigid insulation but need 1 inch. Anyone ever cut the stuff down in thickness? all i can think of is call around to wood working shops and see if they have a band saw big enough for it.

What are they 2x4 sheets? Probably be a lot easier just to get the right stuff.

its extruded and length is 2 ft wide by 8 ft long. I got 2 inch and 3 inch thick

Hot wire. But your going to need someone with the right equipment to do it.

Take the 2 & 3” sell it a buy 1”. Expanded can be cut with hot wire but not extruded.

Might end up being more $ if you cant cut it yourself
