Actually they use the cats because they carry less snow and can make bigger and better jumps over the other manufacturers! What videos would those be lol. Production budget must Have been cut
those older M's worked so good with boost/big bores are the new sleds really that much better......and how cold is Mike#####'s beer ?

these old M's aren't really dinosaurs yet. Very little difference side by side compared to a pro. Have my 1000 within 20 lbs of the pro. I find it very easy to jump from my sled to the pro and actually easier to jump on a xm. Don't get me wrong, hoping next year to pick up a new sled ( it will have to have a factory 174) but the new sleds aren't leap years ahead of the old M.Maybe technology hasn't advanced in the cats enough to warrant a new one.
Biggest thing was the m's front didn't have the same travel as a rev or xp ectthese old M's aren't really dinosaurs yet. Very little difference side by side compared to a pro. Agreed they still work well, my 09 m8 was an awesome sled, SLP pipe/can, controller , that sled ran strong for 2900 miles, I sold it to a guy who modded the crap out of it and eventually blew it up but it sure wasn't the motors fault. I think the guys jumping off the M sleds onto a Pro or XM are ginna adapt real quick, but from the new one back to an M , the tough thing to get re-used to is that HUGE wide friggen hood, so nice not to have to look over and around that thing anymore. The XM hood is still way to fat and wide but at least it's lower. I really liked the Rev chassis, but when the buffalo XP came out the M sleds I think we're just more fun in deep snow. Tough to beat the XM or Pro in good snow now, they both work so well.
took me a good 10 rides to get used to my xm after a decade of riding cats some say i still dont ride as good on my xm as i did on my m's xm is funner to ride tho
