Flatlander thanks for the correction English wasn`t my speciality in school. Beer and chicken in the parking lot is where I was best. Always tried my hardest on those subjects. Its payed off still carry some of that beer around my middle. Reminds me of those fun school years now may be the thing that takes me out

I got an elk in the first week of October. The smokies and sausage turned out really good. And as for deer I only made it out a couple times and didn't have anything cross my path that was pointing some lead at.

Polarisryder how was that moose hunt, how many days did you get in before shooting your first moose?

Well it was a LEH and we got a group of 4 draw, the first mosse my friend got was on the friday of the first week, and mine was on the saturday of the last weekend, cold october morning -4 cold ride in rhino, down a muddy trail(this is only few ks from my house ) and the first place we stop was the oppening of a swamp, So i decide to walk in and dawain our hunting buddy spots this big black thing 150-200 yrds out and zoom in on it and of course its a bull...I scatter around to find a plce to rest, couldnt find one so i decide to go prone. And ofcourse the grass has to be 4 and half feet tall (ahha) and i got my first shot in witch broke its shoulder blade wounding it, then my dad took a shot hitting it int he hind cavity (dont know where he was aiming) and then it took a shot and hit it in the head and it went and laid down. We ran around for a couple mins trying to find a place to croos the creek. No luck . so i had to walk km through swamp to trail again...get there and my dad is gone so its just me and dawain on his quad... then half way to where we expect the moose to be we hear to gun shots. Of course my dad beat us there and pluged it in the head before it could get back up. but esaiest drag out ive ever seen. good meat though, love the peperoni YUMMIE haha

If i every remember to bring our camping w/ guns elk trip of '06 video out for show and laugh you'll have to see that. It'll be good for a laugh and you'll sure get a kick out of our hot tub set up in camp. Buddy managed to film the elk that i shot this past season and just waiting for them to finish editing and making the video for the '07 hunting trip.
