I wanna stretch my 141 mountain max to a 159 if I can, anybody know how to go about it? should I just get rail extensions and a longer track? or grab a new cage and track? I want it to climb a bit better, its got the power to make it up, but I stand a catwalk all the way up. suggestions?

Buddy of mine did that with his. Used rail extensions, and built his own tunnel extension. Worked great.....after he geared it down!

not sure yet, rough measurements look close, I should have the sled here in the next week or so to get going on it. You can buy nytro suspensions cheap, and its a way better than rail extensions.

Do you only want to stretch it because it is wheeling in climbs? Not sure what your stock skid is like but maybe play with shock settings first if that helps.

well especially in hero snow, you get half way up a slope and you're straight up and down at half throttle, let off and you wont make it, add any throttle and you'll go over

Loosen off your front skid shock a bit and see if that changes anything. Long tracks wheelie on hero snow too, so try playing with the stock stuff before you decide to stretch it.

I'll try that, thanks! it climbs well in deep snow, but past 3.5 or 4 ft ish is when i'm to the bar mostly, but in 2-3 its perfect. I was either going to buy a new viper xtx or dump some coin into this, and I just love my triple too much lol

Try pulling off 1 spark plug wire, just run it on 2 cylinders, sounds like this snow machine just has way to much HP for you.

thought about that, then I realised for $1,500 or so I can turn my mountain max into a new animal lol or I can spend $15,000 on a new sled.
