Voltage Regulator 700 Dragon 2008

It appears I may have a VR problem from reading the forums. Does anyone know how to test one? It is 5 hours to the dealer from me.

My idle does not stay consistent and the dash lights and lights flicker.

I don't know how to test it but you do have all the symptoms !

First time my VR went the guys at the shop just replaced it. Didnt test anything. He said the time it took to test it hed have my sled fixed. Said 99 times out of 100 its the VR so if you have symptoms just get it swaped. Btw im on my third lol thank you warranty

That's exactly what mine did when the VR went. Saw one go in a 07 700 a week ago and the bottom of the ECU melted open.

It was my VR and the TPS was out also. Got the upgraded one and the dealer said they have had not problems with the upgraded one.

That happened to my D8. Melted bottom of computer, thinking voltage regulator went then knocked the computer out.
