Ken and Donnie were from Sylvan Lake when I knew them. Was at Kenny's house a few times. He could go fast but god the maintenance and fit and finish was brutal. Lol. Dennis was always fast..........even in the bars and cabaret's after the races. Lol.

Showed this thread to my dad, he got a kick out of it. I need to find all his photos from Fernie/Revvy and out Nordegg way in the mid 80's through through the early 90's. I remember flipping through those as a kid and there were some good ones I should post up. My 12 year old cousin found some VHS tapes (suprised he knows what VHS is!) of our dad's and uncles riding that I never knew exsisted, can't wait to see that.

Yes he was fast hard core only passed him a couple times at the north am but the yammy could corner way better than the moto ski in the final said after it was the hardest any one pushed him in a race remembered we lapped most in that race. I was out to have fun and he was serious on the track but after he was all fun at the banquets, Don Aires, Ernie Lutz ,Dale Gunderson, Walt Healy and me old 67 chev impala bolted hitch to the bumper rickety trailer borrowed money to go to the races some times sponsered fuel from dad from Texaco bulk always came home with a trophy and hangover.

What years did you race? I started in 82 and went to 89. Started in amateur, did really well and jumped into Sprint 540 class for 3 years then ran the sprinter and a Twin track the last 2 years. Was a ton of fun. Wish I had all that money back now though. Lol.

Raced in 75-77 just before the independents came out could not get my hands on 1, there was a twin track racing in the open class a Manta i think with a hand built motor in it I think Lutz ran it.

Yep before my time. The twin I bought was Bratco's and Villenueve's before that I guess. They were fun to drive. Go wherever you pointed them.
