Vid on eagle fire lookout

Came across this while searching to see what the court decision was on removing the lookout that was rebuilt by locals. Wish I was in better shape to hike up there. Anyone know the outcome?

It's south of eagles pass sled area, and have to get at it from the crazy creek side, hiking to it is a serious goat trail,

lol . yes been in the joss lookout after getting off sled and crawling down into it.. nice zone hit the burn farther out and whatever you guys called the area after the burn .... i forget. but hey hey what do I know??? just a yank that rides up there eagles is our favorite. especially the backside. blue lake when its socked in. hunters after a huge fresh untouched dump. other ares we like Eh are the hurley further west. love our canadian friends. hope to ride see you guys on the hill!!!!

one more. funny for you guys. about ten years ago our little group was having fun up eagles for a couple days way back towards turtle etc. we got there first as we crave first tracks..and were trading spots with Reney and his group. He was wondering how we knew were to go!! Nice guy saw him in town later at gas. this was about the time his parents were caught in that horrible fire. GREAT family. saw him next day at blue as socked in. I WILL NEVER FORGET he comes in the blue cabin and says oh its you guys again!!!
My buddy looks up and says all in fun.....CAN you stop following us?

Looks like a pretty amazing place that i'd like to check out sometime.. Looks like a few warmup hikes would be required.. That's some terrain.

Complete waste of tax payers money in politics even debating whether they should tear down a shelter that was refurbished by a group of people who volunteered time and donated resources..
I really don't understand who could logically argue that.. Drop it, move on..

There was discussion of a commercial gain and i understand that would not be acceptable, "hey, you can't do that, stop it!" but still no reason to tear it down...

last year just before xmas we did a 4 day trip out there stayed at a lodge just east of Sicamous unreal place think 13 of us went think a guy named Rena owned it and we had a guy from Drayton Valley owned the Toyota dealership there show us around..... I’m bad with names so if any one knows them chime in Think maybe eagle summit lodge.... great place awesome people place and grub..... great fire look out cabin video..... awesome sleddin there awesome place to stay and man buddy showed our crew endless untracked honey holes thx

Yes and yes.... Great place to stay and Great Guys... Rene and Brent...Either one knows that area very well..... I think they both guide in the Sicamous area as well.... if you want a real challenge get on Brent’s bumper and follow him for an afternoon....lol
