Im having a deja vu of the chicago series... good thing about that though, we pulled it out in game 7 OT... thats how a cup should be won!

They could barely pull one win out of their hat in that series after the thrashing though. And the thing is, games 1 and 2 where pretty dang even, it could just as easily be 4-0 or 3-1 right now. Canucks are lucky it is tied.....

barely pull a win, well they won 4 against a team who had effed with their heads over the past 2 playoffs, and to come back from 3-0 and go into OT, it really played with their heads, and you know what, they pulled through.. series aint over yet sh*thead!!

How about the elbow to the head that chara dealt out that went undetected, thomas throwin a punch, the clotheslineing of a nuck( at least he got a penalty for that one). Sedin gets a penalty but the bruins have way to many men on the ice at that time and the refs just turn a blind eye. I am really beginning to believ cr500 in his post about the NHL not wanting a canadian team to win the cup because of american tv ratings. With marchand's clothesline and attempt to injure sedin he should get a suspension for the intent to injure. But that wont happen, and i see that they changed the rule 48 definitions now to cover blindside hits to try explain why they gave rome the 4 game susp.

The reffing has been pretty bad.The amount of slashes, spears is unreal.Certainly can't call Vancouver the dirty team in this series.Hopefully with last change and the fans behind them.Luongo better get his ch!t together.Ballard looked like he should be playing for red deer rebels. It's going to take something to turn this around.

Nice one sided view! Burrows should be suspended for going after Thomas like that. What about keslars cheap punch on chara? Sedin went in after him, nothing dirty about going down like that.

I see none of the Canucks fans are talking about Kessler's cheap shot cross check in the first faceoff of the game last night, or the fact that one of the Bruins was clothes lined by their bench not long before the Marchand incident happened. Neither of these was penalized either, but the refs are favoring the Canucks. Give me a break.

I agree....bad non calls on both sides guys.....I didn't see much complaining in the first few games over the non calls.....but now that the canucks are getting man handled the nhl must be favoring boston.......

IMO humble opinion something is fishy! If a league has to go and consult with a ex-general manager of the Canucks (Burke) on how to handle Rome's situation is completely crossing the line. After all he too is from Boston, has a personal legal issue outstanding with the Canucks so you think he is going to give a neutral answer. BS Now about the game, sure there was slashing etc etc on both sides. But as per healy's comment he said the slashing and cheap shots by the Bruins behind the play against Vancouver's star players was relentless. So eventually a player is going to react. There were far more non-calls against Vancouver than the Bruins especially timely ones. A bruin trips his own guy and we get the penalty, a trip behind the net no call ends up a goal. As for the clothesline, he should be suspended as there was intent to injure. If we have to play and pay by the rule book then so should the Bruins. The Canucks looked lost, dazed and confused out there and a good team simply doesnt fold like that unless other factors come into play. Just my 2cents worth and I am sure I am going to get some flack over it. Oh well :d

I say let them play. As long as both teams are playing on the edge, and the reffing is consistant, then let the teams adapt to the way the games are being called.:beer:

I fully agree to that! But imaginary trips unfortunately doesnt look like they are letting them play.

my wife and I are going to Vancouver tomorrow to join in the massive crowds watching the game downtown. Cant believe how hard it was to get a hotel room!! Everything booked up but eventually we found one. I wish I was going inside the arena but will make the best of it. I sure hope Canucks dont disappoint us! :vancouver:

The third star Dan O'Halloran

The second star Kelly Sutherland

And tonites first star Mike Murphy

Funny only Murphy played pro hockey and he never won a prize even from Cracker Jacks.

Put Murphy's name into wikipedia and you get the controversy from last years series against the Kings (Murph's old team).

Just curious, but did Bruce McNall own the Kings when Murph played there? Looks like Murph borrowed McNall's ethics.

The NHL is pizzing off it's fan base (Canadians) and will be left with a bunch of whiney US fans who think a faceoff is a tragedy at the Lepers home!

I wasn't going to post here anymore but after reading this lame ass post, I couldn't resist.

Talk about whining, you need to take a look in the mirror. The majority of you Canuck fans are some of the biggest sore losers I have ever seen. Funny that you weren't whining when you were winning, then your team gets their asses handed to them twice and now it's all a conspiracy against a Canadian team, what horseh!t.

You should be whining about the play of your team and not be so worried about what the other team is doing.

you have your opinion and we have ours. You flipped out when your boy got hit and said it was a head shot etc etc That is whining too. It's only natural for each fan to react they way they do. In addition this is a Canuck thread so we should be able to vent our frustrations. Anyway, cheers:beer::beer:

Not pizzing me off and I'm Canadian, and most of the people I know are NOT cheering for the Canucks.
