I grew up in Thompson. Played many a hockey tournaments in flin flon.
Yeah it's nice, we used to take Thursday Fridays off and drive Thursday night and ride from Friday to Monday and drive back Tuesdays then work Wednesday!
I convinced the guys to just book all week off so we can go when ever, long drive from fort mcmurray for some people. At first we decided to take it slow and come down Saturdays or Sundays and ride during the week cause less riders. But it just turned into drive down Friday night after work and ride until Saturday and drive back up Sunday haha.
