We went to chappell again today, left to Much snow behind yesterday not to come back. Was beautiful all day, weather started to change about 3pm, and by 4 there was a blizzard chasing us down the hill. Still plenty of fresh lines out there, especially down in the lower lake bowl...

We went out to clemina today, was a beautiful day, barely any wind, excellent visibility earlier in the day, the high overcast moved in later in the day. Rode around goat ridge over to morning glory and in between. About 4-6" of fresh snow on a very firm base in those areas.

Seen a bunch of snow boarding tracks in the bowls, definitely some agressive lines haha. Looked like they triggered a small avy in goat ridge bowl on the south side... and that was the only avy activity we saw..

Another beauty day on the hill. 20210311_111607.jpg 20210311_111837.jpg 20210311_110119.jpg 20210311_122556.jpg

How are the trails? Still covered by snow and ice or do we have some muddy areas now?

Rode Chappel today. Trail up was awesome, we even had to stop to cool down a few times. We got to top it was a bit socked in snowing, there was between 10” to 18” in many areas. We had untouched pow all day and most of it was in the 18” areas, some areas were deeper in the trees. Lots left to hit and it’s snowing. Used all my fuel again and had a great bunch I was riding with. Micheal/Wild rose shows, and Chris/Plio. Chris even used all his fuel. Sun popped out several times. was awesome ride. Trial out was awesome no issues. Thanks Varda.

Hey all

Just a quick update. More snow fell last night to add to the improving conditions. Thank you all for the kind comments on the trails. We ALWAYS try to produce the same result, ultimately mother nature has the final say. We are still in our full grooming program and our staging areas and trails have full coverage.

The low elevation temps are very warm as to be expected this late in the season so continue to bare with us as we do our best to continue to maintain great access trails for you all.

Ride safe

We road Clemina on Sunday, trail both ways was awesome and holding up very well the two close switchbacks had some ice beneath, but were manageable. We with skidoo experts were experiencing some high temps up to about km 11, after that was good. We stayed on west side for most of the day played in Baurs in between 6” to 1’ of new snow. Better in the trees, was decent. Hit a hidden bowl on the way down and suprinsly enough was decent snow about 1’ with no rescent tracks.

Plio clipped a tree top coming down the trail in the bush and it stayd with him to the truck, lol
