Isnt the pipeline done in June?
Be over in no time, like camrose was 2018
Even after the pipeline is flooded, there will be years of work of landscaping.

Just do like the plankers and sleep 10 people to a hotel room, eat at the "all-you-can-take for the next 3 days" salad bar and drive to the hill on bald ass tires.$1.41 for regular, I can easily see $1.80-2.00 for 91 this winter. $24K sled, $50/gallon oil, $150-200/night hotel, plus truck fuel, plus food, plus gear, plus, plus, plus. Christ almighty a guy is gonna have to start business endeavors like Pablo Escobar to be able to afford to go sledding at this rate...
Hopefully once the pipeline construction is completed, the real estate market cools off a bit. Add me to the list of guys that would like to buy a chunk of land out that way.

From what I re searched the owner has had sketchy business dealings in the past. Its not 100% dead but what scares me is say someone buys into the Jumbo resort and they go tits up I would lose my condo to whoever buys the resort. Uncle was telling me it happened to his father in law at silverstar in the 70s, invested early and lost it allHave they officially squashed that plan yet? I know a bit of money was spent into it and kept getting delayed with investors but haven't seen anything that its officially dead.
Just happened on Kookanusa, so you are wise to be cautious. https://www.castanet.net/news/BC/34...-fraud-case-on-shores-of-B-C-s-Lake-KoocanusaFrom what I re searched the owner has had sketchy business dealings in the past. We just show up. I'll drop my fifth wheel up next time I come, got room. lol.
All camp grounds looked full the other weekend with pipe line workers also so for people looking to take trailers to sleep in maybe a issue also.
Maxwell I'll do snow removal for a bed and a roof over my head
I booked 3 different weekends for next year at the Best Western no problems at all
I believe its $145 a night normal room I am not sure the percentage but I had no problems getting rooms$170 all in? What’s a regular room. Still pricy When I was there in the summer there were workers staying there too. Wonder what percentage of rooms they have remaining.
Right now is probably easy, but around early December will be harder. The other hotels I checked were at 85% that was only Saturday. I tried the Best Western but they were busy and have to call back later. I will post there rates for winter shortly, or if someone beats me to it do so.I believe its $145 a night normal room I am not sure the percentage but I had no problems getting rooms
