Starting to really wish I would have built some cabins/campsite out on the property years ago.

Got a spare room or a spot on the floor Chris LOL I'll bring lots of food and booze!

Lol Really depends who is out there. Me the wife and kids then lots of room, but if there is any family out there the main cabin starts filling up fast. And my parents cabin isn't really setup to be used in winter time; could be done but its an old cabin, maybe a few gaps in the logs, no running water, no electricity, fire needed for heat... No ideal when you've been sledding all day to come back to.

Some of us work too LOL. Need 3-4 days to do revy from edmonton. Ive never had that many days off in my life.

That’s why we built a house down there for a customer this last yr so I could work down there

$1.41 for regular, I can easily see $1.80-2.00 for 91 this winter. $24K sled, $50/gallon oil, $150-200/night hotel, plus truck fuel, plus food, plus gear, plus, plus, plus. Christ almighty a guy is gonna have to start business endeavors like Pablo Escobar to be able to afford to go sledding at this rate...

Hopefully once the pipeline construction is completed, the real estate market cools off a bit. Add me to the list of guys that would like to buy a chunk of land out that way.

Not a chance. Most in town are saying they are there for 4 years. This isn’t 1950 when they find a frog they shutdown coast to coast lol
itll be interesting the future. I remember reading about 6 years ago the proposed ski resort. But that never panned out

Have they officially squashed that plan yet? I know a bit of money was spent into it and kept getting delayed with investors but haven't seen anything that its officially dead.
