Lol. Gotta love the face plant video
Murminator, how was PV? I might be attending a destination wedding there next April.
Ya I didn't like Cabo much either especially the riu Santa fe. Not being able to swim in the ocean in front of your resort is lame. 30 min walk from the lobby to our rooms near the pool and no shuttle. So dumb. Only ate once there. Did most of our eating downtown. Found a couple good restaurants.Didn't enjoy Cabo as much as PV. Riu Sante Fe was a nice hotel, but not the Riu service we are use to. We did have ocean view (building 7), but did a lot of walking to get back to main area. Guest in next room spent first night beating the crap out of each other. Lots of yelling, slapping and bouncing of our room door. Security finally showed up after a couple hours, but told them to keep it in the room, and they did till 6am. We did get a new room with a west facing view of ocean. This was our 4th Riu resort, 3rd Riu resort in Mexico and way below any of the others.
Evening bar service was very slow(I tip every time), and got worse as the spring breakers arrived later in the week. You could wave a 50 peso bill at all 4 bars in the main area and still not get anyones attention. It was the young drunks at the bar partying up a storm who never waited for drinks or shooters. They were entertaining, but didn't tip all night.
Missed being able to walk on the beach and swim in the ocean even if its not Carribean clear. Vendors selling shirts, cigars, drugs and hookers walking through the pool area all day long. If your feet hit the sand, they swarmed. Even the beach weddings had to put up with being hounded. I don't mind beach vendors if they are respectful and back off when you say no, they are trying to make a living too.
First time I ever saw anyone fishing off a 225 million dollar yacht. The Attessa IV was trolling down the beach with 2 lines off the back one morning before it left. Mr Washington has too much money!!
I'll post some pics later.
