Can you explain Crank Run out. I have called most ab and some out of province wreckers, no luck yet. I do have a friend who is a Brp mechanic doing the removal and instal so I would assume he know. I am just curious. Thanks.
Thanks for the link. This is an original clutch with 9000 kms. Over the years the previous owner, my friend, and I have had the clutch serviced regularly. I have called lots of places, no luck yet. Hope the run out is ok, it should be as its the original and it hasnt given any problems till now. Plus at 7000 kms the same mechanic rebuilt the engine as he had to do seals on it so I bought two pistons and he put them in. The crank was good then. I guess I got my moneys worth out of that clutch. Reading your post sure answers some questions. The ride before the clutch broke, I too was losing power and rpm at the top end but only in deep cutline snow. Thought it was just the conditions. Moved the clickers up a couple notches and went out the next weekend. Still thought there should have been more. I broke a lever arm late in the day as well and here I sit searching out a part.
