I seen both sleds. Neither is worth the time or money to repair. Both bulkheads are destroyed, everything is crooked, crammed and battered to pieces. The jack shaft on the white m8 is poked right out thru the tunnel, rails, suspension and tunnel is smashed to pieces. Only thing worth doing is parting them out. Such a sin.haha....$2500
Took the words out of my mouth there. That was the point of being in a secluded area. For him to learn. It's not his fault at all. Sure, some of us may have been able to notice the situation and possibilitie, but someone that's new to sledding, not used to being around the sport, I can't place any blame on him. His sled wasn't even broken in yet. It sucks I was looking forward to havin him in the mountains with us. If my other buddy on the poo never told him to put both feet on one side, god knows what could have resulted in this. It's a real eye opener for all of us, which is why I had to post it. Anything can happen no matter how good of a rider you areIm having a hard time understanding how anyone can fault the guy on the m8??? Hes a newbie in an open field away from other peeps and obstacles practicing to become better, and a rocket comes outta nowhere and $hit smashes him?? Kinda hard to know ur surroundings wen someone mach chickens into ur blindside. Its real cut and dry to me whos at fault.

They'd still be diggin' bits of his (now amputated) leg outta that sled. Crazy lucky.Took the words out of my mouth there. That was the point of being in a secluded area. For him to learn. K thats a bad example. If u wanna put it in traffic terms how about if a motorcyclist was practicing in a vacant parking lot and some doughhead flew INTO this parking lot at the speed of sound and hit the aforementioned biker, is the biker turning circles still at fault? Cmon.the one thing no matter what ur riding or driving is its not you u have to watch for but the other guy .... the guy that hit him is at more fault .... but he did turn into the guy...if it were on a road with cars for example .... he turned into a lane and got brodd sided .... the guy that turned into the lane is at fault...just saying that it many come down to that in court cause thats the way it goes by the traffic laws

I agree with scrfce, I'm glad both are ok but when he was turning around he probably didn't even see the guy doing mach1.
